Al Jackson was shot and killed in his Memphis home by a burglar on October 1, 1975. In 1988, Booker T. & The MGs reunited and four years later they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In 1994, they released their first album in 23 years, That’s The Way It Should Be.
